Wednesday - "Bleeds" - INDIE COMPACT DISC M/M (Sealed)

Wednesday is an American alternative rock band formed in Asheville, North Carolina, in 2017. The band consists of Karly Hartzman (vocals, guitar), MJ Lenderman (guitar, backing vocals), Xandy Chelmis (pedal steel), Alan Miller (drums), and Ethan Baechtold (bass). The band's style has been described as a mixture of shoegaze, noise rock and alternative country, while their lyrical content has been praised for its storytelling about life in the American south.

Bleeds is the sixth studio album by American rock band Wednesday, released on September 19, 2025 on Dead Oceans. Produced by Alex Farrar, who had worked with the band on their previous studio albums, Twin Plagues (2021) and Rat Saw God (2023), the album was preceded by the singles, "Elderberry Wine", "Wound Up Here (By Holdin On)", "Pick Up That Knife" and "Bitter Everyday".

It is the band's first album to feature bass guitarist Ethan Baechtold, who joined the band in 2023 ahead of touring in support of Rat Saw God. Prior to the album's release, lead guitarist MJ Lenderman announced that he would no longer be touring with Wednesday, but would remain a full contributing member of the band in a studio context. He will be replaced by guitarist Jake Pugh on Bleeds' accompanying tour.
