When I was in high school I heard Satriani’s song, “Why?” on the radio but back then we couldn’t Shazam things and I didn’t know the name of the song. I went to the record store and picked this album, hoping that song would be on it, and it wasn’t. Regardless, this album was my first Joe Satriani album. It’s a more chill, bluesy Satriani than I think most people are used to. I think it holds up as well as his best stuff, even if it isn’t as flashy as usual. 

Grades: Sleeve/media. Generally cosmetic and I will indicate if something plays less than flawless.
