3rd Floor Tapes: The App 1.0 (Live Testing)

How to install the new 3rd Floor Tapes App on your Android phone: (Sorry, IOS users ...Some day!!!)

1.***APP DOWNLOAD (CLICK ME)***

 2. Extract the APK file. 

3. If Android blocks the install, search "Install unknown apps" in Settings and enable "Allow from this source for the app that downloaded the file (usually Files by Google or the browser you used).

4. If Play Protect says "App blocked to protect your device," tap, there should be an "Install anyway" option near the bottom. (There are no security issues here. This is just a low-budget app-build and I am bypassing the Google Play Store.)

5. If Android asks whether to send the app to Google for a security check, you should be able to tap Send or Don't send. (It IS secure after all!🤣)

6. It should install from there. Once the 3rd Floor Tapes "VAN HALEN"-style logo appears, you're good to go. 

7. You'll need to create an account in the app. Unless you are making offers, you'll check out through Shop or Shopify with your usual account.

No way to uncheck "cart" buttons;

Exterior of products need offer buttons;

Items with options (sizes on shirts; variations of loose blank tapes) are unavailable at the moment;

I made this with zero budget and it is much cheaper to host this app here rather than on the Google Play Store. 

Q: What is the app for?

A: A lot of things now and a lot of things later!

1. The app allows you to make offers on tapes- a virtual "build your own discount" system. 

2. You can also build a favorites list rather than run a continuous cart. 

3. For larger inventory drops, app users will have early access to new stuff. 

4. Long term- Eventually there will be an old school AOL-esque message board and chat room.

The vibes are guaranteed to be reel good. It will be a way for all of us to connect in a more positive place than modern, mainstream message board sites. There may be guest DJs. SO MANY ACTIVITIES.
