3rd Floor Tapes App Installation Instructions

How to install the new 3rd Floor Tapes App on your Android phone: (Sorry, IOS users ...Some day!!!)

You don't need to "buy" this. 

1.***Click the Download link on the upper left menu

 

 2. Extract the APK file. 

 

3. If Android blocks the install, search "Install unknown apps" in Settings and enable "Allow from this source for the app that downloaded the file (usually Files by Google or the browser you used).

 

4. If Play Protect says "App blocked to protect your device," tap, there should be an "Install anyway" option near the bottom. (There are no security issues here. This is just a low-budget app-build and I am bypassing the Google Play Store.)

 

5. If Android asks whether to send the app to Google for a security check, you should be able to tap Send or Don't send. (It IS secure after all!🤣)

 

6. It should install from there. Once the 3rd Floor Tapes "VAN HALEN"-style logo appears, you're good to go. 

 

7. You'll need to create an account in the app. Unless you are making offers, you'll check out through Shop or Shopify with your usual account.
